Voter Information

Contested PCO races appear on the Primary ballot. This year's Primary Election takes place on Tuesday, August 7. To register to vote you must be:

  • A citizen of the U.S.
  • A resident of the State of Washington
  • 18 years old by the next election
  • Not under the authority of the Department of Corrections for a Washington State felony conviction
  • Not disqualified from voting due to a court order

 

Voter Registration Deadlines

29 Days Before an Election
  • Last day for online voter registration for new Washington voters
  • Last day for mail-in voter registration for new Washington voters
  • Last day for address changes for existing Washington voters
8 Days Before an Election
  • Last day for in-personvoter registration for new Washington voters. Go to:

The deadlines listed above do not apply to military and overseas voters, whomay register to vote in Washington through 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Register to Vote Online

All you need to register to vote online is a current Washington State driver's license or ID. To register to vote, visit the Secretary of State's website.
